React Job: Full stack developer

Project Description

Candidate will be joining to the simulator team which is responsible for providing cutting-edge backtesting platforms to 500+ users. The product is a web based IDE that users can utilize to write/experiment their quantitative models in an interactive way. The backend of product does all the computations in large grid compute network and streams output back to the frontend. Frontend is responsible for displaying the info and providing widgets for quants to design/test/evaluate their models in an efficient and easy manner.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to take responsibility of designing and managing web stack of the simulator. Most importantly, we are looking someone who can design and develop appealing complex frontends by using modern UI libraries. Candidate will be responsible for overhauling existing frontend codes to put in a better shape so that making user-interface design and development easier and more efficient.

Skills

Must have

Must be able to write maintainable web applications
Must be able to restructure existing code base or rewrite certain parts if deemed necessary
Must be able to work independently and take over responsibility of designing and developing whole web stack (from backend to frontend)
Expert in fundamental web technologies that we use in our stack: http, python, reactjs, javascript, html5, css, svg, canvas api
Experienced in working in linux environment
Familiar with libraries to plot data
Familiar with transfer and display of large amount of information in web pages
Familiar with frontend development & tools
